Tested in extreme midday heat using the high-end AGM Sidewinder TM50-640 (08216) thermal imager in all filter modes.
Dimensions: 544×513×303 mm
Usage Guidelines:
-
Avoid prolonged direct contact between the cover and heat sources (human body, equipment, machinery, etc.).
-
Allow the outer layer to adjust to the ambient temperature after moving from a warm to a cold environment.
-
Break the silhouette by avoiding straight lines or rectangular shapes, reducing visual and thermal detectability.
-
Ensure an air gap between the cover and the object. This enhances thermal masking efficiency and extends concealment time.
-
Never cover open flames, even with a gap between the source and the tent.
-
Protect from cuts, abrasions, and punctures. Use only the built-in grommets for fixing the cover. Avoid making extra holes or stretching it over sharp objects.
-
Avoid contact with aggressive chemicals (acids, alkalis, solvents). Do not machine wash.
-
Do not use the cover as a bag or stretcher.
Thermal Shelter
This thermal shelter masks and protects personnel, vehicles, and equipment from thermal detection. It conceals heat signatures, shields against weather, and can be used as a thermal blanket.
Camouflaged in MultiCam, it creates protected zones in both the optical and infrared spectrum. It reduces up to 80% of thermal emissions and protects against rain, snow, and wind. You can combine several shelters to increase coverage, making it ideal as a tent or insulating layer.
Purpose:
The Danaper Thermal Tent is designed to:
-
Conceal heat signatures of personnel, equipment, and positions (fortified or not).
-
Protect against rain, snow, and wind.
-
Serve as a thermal insulator in extreme temperature environments (it also works as a thermal blanket).
-
Create protected zones from aerial surveillance in both the optical (thanks to MultiCam) and infrared (by suppressing thermal emissions) spectrums.
Key Benefits:
-
Reduces thermal emissions by up to 80%.
-
Recommended for standalone use or combined with camouflage elements and natural surroundings.
-
Provides reliable protection against rain, snow, wind, and direct sunlight.
